Screaming Eagles reunion in Tampa

Association Reunion 2005 chairman

Army Maj. Gen. Thomas R. Turner, commanding general of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) along with the Division Army Command Sgt. Maj. Frank Grippe, and the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the 101st Airborne Division Association will host the Association Reunion 2005 Aug. 10 to 13 at the Double Tree Hotel on Cypress Street, Tampa, FL.

The event will highlight the service of the Desert Storm Veterans, many of whom are still on active duty and stationed at MacDill. The reunion committee would like to locate as many former Screaming Eagles as possible who are stationed at MacDill with U.S. Special Operations Command or U.S. Central Command so they can join in this reunion.

The guest speaker at the Memorial Dinner Aug. 12 will be Army General J.H. Binford Peay, III, commandant of Virginia Military Institute and Lt. Gen. Robert Clark, Fourth Army commander, will also attend. At the Aug. 13 Awards Dinner, Gen. Richard Cody, vice chief of staff U.S. Army will be the guest speaker.
