Team MacDill welcomes Vice President Cheney

Vice President Dick Cheney shakes hands with military members in Hangar 3 during his visit to Macdill June 10. The vice president spoke briefly thanking troops for their efforts in the War on Terrorism. His visit included stops at U.S. CENTCOM and U.S. SOCOM headquarters on base. He concluded his visit by speaking at the International Special Operations Forces Week Conference at the Tampa Convention Center.
